The admirers of A. Green works, people in love and dreamers will gather in Kirov from August 22 to 24 for the traditional festival "The Days of Romance at Vyatka".

The celebration is timed to the birthday of the writer Alexander Grin who was born in Vyatka province (nowadays - Kirov region).

Within the framework of the festival in libraries of the city of Kirov events dedicated to the works of A. Green, romance and dream will be held: literary meetings, exhibitions, performances, game program "The World of visionaries and dreamers", ceremony of awarding with annual literary prize named after A. Green and much more.

In the cinema house "Smena" everyone on August 23 and 24 will be able to watch the selection of short films Future Shorts.

The Theater square will turn into "The suqare of dreamers and romantics": on August 23 at the place the festival grand opening will be held with the participation of the Minister of culture of Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky followed by a gala concert.

At Green embankment the festive atmosphere will be felt as well – here art-studio of romantic song "The Scarlet Sails" will operate.

The romantic theme will be developed on August 23 as part of walking tours "Romantic Vyatka" accompanied by professional photographers.
